When Kaitlyn sent back her questionnaire after her golden hour boudoir session, I literally started tearing up reading her words on how she felt after the session. She said she felt euphoric. What made you choose us for your boudoir session? 🙂

My friend highly recommended you, and as I was going through your portfolio, I noticed you offered outdoor boudoir sessions. Exactly what I wanted!

What were you the most nervous about coming into your session?

That it was a new experience and I wasn’t sure what to expect. And since I wanted nude pictures outside, I was worried (yet also excited) about being seen.

How do you feel now that you’ve completed the golden hour boudoir session?

I feel euphoric. Before heading into the studio that day, I was second guessing my decision to do a session. Why put myself in a vulnerable situation, why spend the money, what good was this going to do? As soon as I tried on the first lingerie set though, I remembered why I wanted to do this. I felt beautiful and feminine and soft yet powerful and confident, in the way that you can only feel when you are unapologetically yourself. I felt like the person in the mirror gazing back at me was who I really am. Earthy and sensual and strong and free. Those feelings stayed throughout the rest of the evening, with the sun peeking through the trees and glistening off of the river. And those feelings still remain.

What was your favorite part of the session?

I loved just getting in the zone. Allowing myself to be there in the moment and being okay with other people being there. I felt very free and feminine. Sometimes I get stuck in my head (often times), and it was a nice reprieve to not have to think.

Do you have any advice for people looking to book their own golden hour boudoir session?

Trust the process and trust yourself. It’s an amazing experience, and if you’re thinking about doing a boudoir photoshoot, schedule it. You won’t be disappointed. The experience alone is worth it.
